A-20G-40-DO Serial Number 43-21638
This site was still under investigation by the US Army CILHI as an MIA site. The history of the aircraft at time of publication is unclear, although it is thought that it flew with the Combat Replacement Training Center (CRTC), known technically as the 360th Service Group. This unit, based at Nadzab, were flying "practice" combat missions against Wewak from mid-1944 until cessation of hostilities. This particular A-20G was transferred to CRTC from the 3rd Attack Group with which it flew combat from May 1944 until its transfer.
