Weapon Expert GySgt Tom E. Williams
USMC Historical Company & Consultant to "Windtalkers" Movie

Pacific Ghosts was proud to speak with expert GySgt Tom Williams about the weapons of the Guadalcanal campaign, including both United States Marine Corps weapons, and those of the Japanese Forces.

Williams is the Director of the USMC Historical Company, and also was a consultant on the recently Hollywood movie "Windtalkers". His knowledge of the equipment and weapons of the Marine Corps and their Japanese opponents is impressive - with knowledge of both the technical attributes of each piece of gear, and anecdotes about its actual use and the problems and strengths of each in the testing physical environment that was the Battle of Guadalcanal.

We were pleased to interview him for the Guadalcanal Today DVD and add his important commentary on the weapons and equipment that is forever linked with this historic battle of WWII history.
