Flight Log Book
Smith shared his complete wartime flight log book. Smith completed stateside flgihts, including training and patrols from California that I did not copy details, but totaled 150.15 flying hours. Entries with (?) indicate illegible hand writing or cross checking required.

Smith flew in the Battle of the Bismark Sea, and against Japanese targets at Rabaul, Wewak, Gasmata, Lae and others. He flew in the P-38 Lighting, which he scored all his victories, and also the P-47 Thunderbolt.
