This wallet was recovered from a dead Japanese soldier on Iwo Jima by a Marine. The Marine wishes to return it to the family. Email Us if you have any information related it.

The hanko (seal or chop) reads 'Takahashi'. The Migawari-Omomori (sacred amulet of wood) in the bottom right is evidently from Naritasan Shinshoji Temple the famous temple in Chiba near present-day Narita international airport.
